MINAMO "DURÉE"

間もなく僕のやっているもう一つのバンド「minamo」の新作が、ニューヨークの12kレーベルからリリースされます。
1月12日発売予定ですが、輸入ものなので、国内では多少ずれるかもです。
minamoの活動自体は、のんびりですが本作は音作りからレコーディング、マスタリングまでこだわり抜いて沢山の時間を費やしました。
多くの方に沢山聴いて頂けたら幸いです！

「日本のエレクトロ・アコースティックユニット、ミナモの新作が遂に登場！ ミナモは、1999年に活動を開始した、杉本佳一、 安永哲郎、岩下裕一郎、笹本美奈子による4人組。
新作『Durée』(デュレ)は、フランス人哲学者アンリ・ベルグソンの理論である『純粋持続』に影響を受け制作されました。
今回は、過去の作品と違い、作曲に近い手法で各曲をレコーディングされています。コンピュータとデジタルエフェクトは極力抑え、楽器の響きとアナログエフェクターのノイズ、メンバーの息づかいや衣擦れまでを含む相互作用と空気感を要素として大切に作られています。アコースティック楽器による美しい音色と微かに感じるデジタルエフェクトが、ミニマルながらも様々な色合いのメロディー／テクスチャーを生み出し、催眠的な心地よさと、研ぎすまされた覚醒感を同時に包括するサウンドに。」

it is releasing in world wide on 12th January.
actually minamo's activity is slowly but i spent so many time for this work.
i think this work is everything(making sounds, recordings, mixing, mastering) best for minamo.
i hope a lot of people like this work.

"Durée, their last studio work since 2007's collaboration with Tape, and their follow-up to Shining on 12k (12k1031, now out of print), takes influence from the French philosopher Henri-Louis Bergson's concept of "pure durée," an idea that one's consciousness is a constant flow and not something that can be divided, reversed, or measured. Minamo used these ideas in creating their music, despite the contradiction of the time-stamped CD format, to try to subvert the ideas of compartmentalized "time" and "space." With a strong sense of non-linearity and flow taken from Bergson's ideas, Minamo have created a colorful, skittering wash of music, noise, and texture that embraces a sense of out-there-ness."
